Lijo Jose Pellissery, Indian film actor and director, who works in the Malayalam Film Industry. Lijo Jose Pellissery is best known for his movies 'Amen', 'Angamaly Diaries', 'Ee. Ma. Yau.', and 'Jallikattu'. He has won the Best Director Award for his movie Ee.Ma.Yau, starring Chemban Vinod, at the 48th Kerala State Film Awards. He also received the 'Silver Crow Pheasant' Award at the International Film Festival of Kerala 2018 and won 'Silver Peacock' for the best director at the 49th International Film Festival of India.

Lijo Jose Pellissery was born on September 18, 1979, in Chalakudy in Thrissur district of Kerala. Pellissery made his debut in 2010 with his crime cinema 'Nayakan', followed by another crime-drama 'City of God' in 2011, and a black comedy satire 'Amen' in 2013, which hit the Kerala box office. His latest movie Jallikkattu premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
