K R Sachidanandan popularly popularly known as Sachy or Sachi was born in Kodungalloor in Thrissur District, Kerala on 1972, an Indian advocate, poet, writer, film script writer, theatre artist, producer and director, who was well known for his works in the Malayalam film industry. In the Malayalam film industry, his collaboration with writer Sethu produced popular movies such as Chocolate (2007), Robinhood (2009), Makeup Man (2011) and Seniors (2012).

His directorial debut was malayalam movie Anarkali starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Rajeev Nair under the banner of Magic Moon Productions. Sachy was associated with 2 movies in 2017; Ramaleela with Dileep, and the Biju Menon starring Sherlock Toms which is directed by Shafi. His Blockbuster was action thriller film Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon, released on 2020. Sachy, passed away due to prolonged illness on 18th June 2020, after he underwent surgery, at a private hospital, Thrissur.
