Shah Rukh Khan, better known as SRK or King Khan of Bollywood, is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality, who was born on 2 November 1965, in New Delhi, India. He is also known by another name in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood", he has acted in more than 80 Bollywood films and earned numerous accolades including 14 Filmfare Awards. He also won the "Padma Shri" award from The Government of India, "Ordre des Arts et des Lettres" award and the "Legion of Honour" from the Government of France.

King Khan began his career in the late 1980s with appearances in numerous television series, and made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with the title "Deewana". He first spotted in villain roles in the moves Baazigar (1993), Darr (1993), and Anjaam (1994). He made his romantic role starring in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).
On his superhit movie Devdas, which he played an alcoholic character has earned critical acclaim. SRK continued his journey through Bollywood with his remarkable performances in various characters, a NASA scientist in Swades (2004), a hockey coach in Chak De! India (2007) and a man with Asperger syndrome in My Name Is Khan (2010).
The movie Chennai Express which release in 2013, Happy New Year (2014), and Dilwale (2015) are his highest-grossing films. SRK was honored with UNESCO's "Pyramide con Marni award" for supporting children's education, "World Economic Forum's Crystal Award" for his leadership in championing women's and children's rights in India in 2018.
