5 Quarantined Brahmins Rejected Food Because it was Prepared by Scheduled Caste Cooks

In a recent incident that came from Jharkhand of Hazaribagh district, 5 Brahmins who were in quarantine refused to eat the food given to them. It is because those who cook food belong to the lower castes.
According to the report of Times Now, they are from the Banaso quarantine center (a state-run facility) in the Bishnugarh block of Hazaribagh. Over 100 people have been quarantined (returnees from different states) here as part of precautionary measures against the infection of Covid-19.
After refusing them, they were given dry ration kits by the district authorities were asked to cook for themselves.
Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh, deputy commissioner in Harazibagh, confirmed this, he said all the five of the Quarantine participants should not create such problems, in these testing times of the epidemic, they should rise on top of religious and caste affiliations.
