Ahmedabad: A nurse who is working in Ahmedabad civil hospital allegedly committed suicide on Monday. She jumped off from the 10th floor, from her parents flat at New Maninagar locality, police said.

Her father lives on the same floor of Karnavati Rivera flats in the residential society, said that she was mentally disturbed for the last two, there days, an official informed to the media.
"She was living with her husband in CTM area, Some days ago she had come back to her parents' place and was mentally disturbed. A probe is on to find out why she took the extreme step," he added.
Her father said that, she has not shown any of mental issues or symptoms prior to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the scenes of patients being brought in ambulances and then later dying of the COVID-19 infection traumatized her, he added.
