The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday approved home delivery of alcohol in Mumbai, besides in containment zones. But the over-the-counter selling of alcohol won't be allowed.

Mumbai enabled Liquor home delivery inside non-containment zones

MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday approved home delivery of alcohol in Mumbai, besides in containment zones. But the over-the-counter selling of alcohol won't be allowed.

"E-commerce platforms may be added to do the home delivery services of the liquor," said the BMC order. Liquor selling was completely banned in the city, due to the worst effect of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
