In Japan, the hornets kill up to 50 people a year. Now, for the first time, Asian giant hornets (Murder Hornets) have arrived in the United States.
Jun-ichi Takahashi, a researcher at Kyoto Sangyo University in Japan, said this species had earned the nickname “murder hornet” because they can kill humans in multiple bite.
