Oscar-winning Music director AR Rahman has revealed that a group of people are working in Bollywood to spread false propaganda against him.

Rahman made this clear in an interview with Radio Mirchi. He was responding to questions about why he has directed music for so few films in Bollywood in recent times.
I never said no to good pictures. I believe there is a group of people who are misleading and misrepresenting me. Director Mukesh Chabra was approaching me for the film Dil Bechara. I composed four songs in two days for the movie- Rahman said.
He told me a lot of stories, many have told him. "Do not go after Rahman" and so on. When I consulted, I understood, why don't good movies come to me. "Why do I only get so few non-commercial films"
Rahman won the 81st Oscar for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for Slumdog Millionaire (2008). He won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album and Best Song for Visual Media.
Rahman's last music was in Dil Bechara directed by Mukesh Chabra. Dil Bechara is the latest film starring actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie starring Sanjana Sanghi was released on Amazon Prime Video yesterday.
