New Delhi: Large planes have been restricted at Kozhikode International Airport in the wake of a plane crash. The Director General of Civil Aviation has issued an order preventing large planes from landing at Karipur during monsoons. The DGCA order comes after 18 people, including passengers and crew, were killed in the August 7 crash of an IX1344 flight from Dubai.

According to Asianet news, Karipur plane crash, 86 are still undergoing treatment and two are on ventilator at two private hospitals in Kozhikode. Twenty-four people were seriously injured. The condition of 60 people is satisfactory, hospital officials said.
