Moscow: Russia has officially released the first vaccine against Covid-19, giving the world hope. The announcement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin has announced that the world's first coronavirus vaccine has been registered in Russia.
Putin said the vaccine had been injected into his daughter's body and that the production of the vaccine would be boosted as soon as possible. Russia claims that the vaccine can help prevent Covid-19. Large-scale construction is expected to begin by September. The vaccine was developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to Deputy Health Minister Oleg Gridnev.
"Russia is the first country to register a coronavirus vaccine. Many scientists in the country and abroad have been sceptical, however, questioning the decision to register the vaccine before Phase 3 trials that normally last for months and involve thousands of people." - Times of India Reported
