We no longer advertise on channels that promote hate speech and broadcast toxic content, said Krishna Rao, Parle's senior category head.
Krishnarao Buddha added that he would discuss with other companies the issue of restricting advertising.
According to Mumbai Police, three television channels, including Arnab Goswami's Republic TV, have falsified their TRP ratings. Following this, Bajaj and Parle, the advertisers, came out and said that they would not advertise on the alleged channels.
Mumbai Police have found that the channels had falsified the top-secret Barco meters installed in homes selected by BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council) for television ratings.
