Aishwarya Sridhar, 23, from Panvel has become the pride of India, the first Indian woman to win the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award. The award is for her photography titled "Lights of Passion".

Aishwarya Sridhar received this award for her photography of a tree, which glowing in the light of Fireflies at night. The award is for her photography titled "Lights of Passion". She become the first Indian woman who won Wildlife Photographer of the Year award.
Aishwarya's film was selected for the award from 50,000 entries from 80 countries, only 100 images were shortlisted. The Museum of Natural History in London has announced the 56th Wildlife Photographer of the Year award. Aishwarya took this picture of Fireflies while going on a trekking last year. She won the award for her photograph in the Behaviour Invertebrates category.

Aishwarya, 23, hails from Panvel. Apart from Weld Life Photography, Aishwarya is also a filmmaker. In 2019, Aishwarya received the Diana Award from the Princess Diana Foundation.
