Malalai Maiwand, journalist and presenter at Enikas Radio and TV was shot dead along with her driver. They were killed in an attack on their vehicle in the regional capital Jalalabad.

Enikas Radio and TV journalist Malalai Maiwand shot dead in Afghanistan
Malalai Maiwand was a TV presenter and women's rights activist in Afghanistan. Last month, two journalists were killed in the country. Afghanistan is one of the most insecure countries for journalists.
Including her, 10 journalists and media workers got killed in the country this year.
She was on the way to work when the incident happened in Jalalabad on Thursday.
According to Reuters news agency reports, Her mother, also an activist, was killed by unknown gunmen five years ago.
