Seven people have been killed in a fire at a private Covid-19 care hospital Egypt in northeast of central Cairo. Several people were injured. The fire broke out at the Misr Al Amal Hospital in El Obour.

The assessment is that the cause of the accident was a short circuit. Patients who were being treated at the hospital following the fire were shifted to a nearby government hospital.
The number of Covid-19 patients in Egypt had increased last week. On Saturday, 1,189 Covid-19 cases and 43 deaths were reported. So far, 7,352 people have died of Covid-19 in the country.
