Stephanie Brown turned around when she heard a footstep behind her when she was taking out the necessary items from the fridge. It was his son Dominic, who was playing outside. But Stephanie was left surprised to see a new friend with Dominic, a baby deer.
Stephanie says the baby deer seemed completely comfortable with her son's company when she saw them both standing at the door.
"I see him and the baby deer standing next to each other almost to come inside! I was completely shocked! I froze for a second because I literally didn't know what to do!" she said to WBTV.
Stephanie quickly walked away to grab her phone and take a picture of the two together, which she later posted on Facebook.
The family was on vacation at the Massanutten resort in Virginia. Meanwhile, Dominic went out to play, Stephanie said Dominic brought the baby deer into the house to give him some food.
The picture has gone viral on the social media platform, garnering over 30,000 'shares' and thousands of comments from people gushing over the two.
