According to Indian Express, "Pushpa will be released in two parts. The first part has been titled Pushpa: The Rise, and it will hit screens on December 25 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi."

With a caption Meet the "Villain of Pushpa", Mythri Movie Makers released the new poster on their Twitter account today. "The most talented #FahadhFaasil turns into menacing BHANWAR SINGH SHEKHAWAT (IPS) to lock horns with our #PushpaRaj"
