B. Kannan was an Indian cinematographer who has worked in Tamil and Malayalam films. He is known for his association with Director Bharathiraja and is famously referred to as "Bharathirajvin Kangal" (Bharathirajas's Eyes), was died on 13th June 2020 due to age related illness at a private hospital in Chennai.

Kannan is the son of film-maker A. Bhimsingh and the younger brother of editor B. Lenin. He is married to Kanchana and has two daughters namely MadhuMathi and Janani (Married to Dinesh Jayapalan - IT Professional and has a daughter Thiyara).
