Kabul: A bomb explosion near a school in the Afghan capital, Kabul. The Interior Ministry said 40 people were killed and several others were injured in the incident. Most of the injured were students, and it is not clear about any of the dead. Injured students were admitted to the hospital.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, angry people attacked ambulances and health workers. The attack comes after the U.S. military announced it was withdrawing from Afghanistan. Afghan officials have said to the media, the Taliban will try to carry out attacks across the country.
